A billion-dollar business: garbage from Germany is illegally disposed of in Poland and the Czech Republic. Painstakingly collected and separated, then dumped somewhere. The trail leads to German companies that only pretend to dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly manner. In order to find out how such dirty dealings take place, “Die Spur” reporters follow a garbage transport. From the waste disposal company in Germany to its destination in the Czech Republic, a fuel processing company near Brno.
