The scientists think that somewhere between one and eleven million species of fungi could exist that have not yet been identified. Follow the Rain is a documentary made by two fungi hunters, Stephen Axford and Catherine Marciniak, who are on the track of undiscovered species of fungi in Australia. We can follow them to tropical islands, ancient rainforests, a hostile desert, and discover the creepiness of zombie fungi and the wonder of the Australian ghost fungus. They take us behind the scenes into their fungarium, revealing what they observe as they record the life and death of mushrooms and mycelium growing in spellbinding time-lapses.
